P. Hezekiah Dike, An author, educator, and community leader

I am P. Hezekiah Dike, an author, educator, and community leader from Awka, Nigeria. My work is rooted in a lifelong commitment to documenting history, culture, and traditions — particularly those of the Awka people.
Born in 1940, I studied in Nigeria and London, where I gained extensive academic and professional experience. Over the years, I worked with international companies including Philips (Oslo) and the Greater London Council (UK), before returning to Nigeria to contribute to its industrial and educational development.
In 2007, I established Hez Dike Schools, a private primary and post-primary institution in Awka, dedicated to nurturing young minds and preserving cultural values. Alongside education, I have authored books that serve as both historical records and cultural preservation projects, ensuring that future generations remain connected to their heritage.
